Leslie
“My marriage has been tumbling apart, and I’ve been working, spinning, striving to rescue it. A huge part of what your lessns and the community of womn here has reinforced for me is that I can’t rescue anything or anyone but myself. I have learned, over time, to ‘put on my own oxygen mask first,’ to pay attention to my own voice, needs, deires, and dreams. I have strengthened my resolve in setting and enforcing boundaries and limits that serve ME first.”

“With this project, my goal is to learn more about ME! I want to be able toface my fears, confront them, and grow from them. This year I will be an amazing 50 years old and I feel like my life is just now beginning for ME and not everyone else. I can’t wait to graduate with a PhD from The Finding You Project.”

"One of the biggest obstacles and barriers I find in moving forward is that critical voice telling me it is impossible to change lifelong thoughts patterns and behaviors and that no one else has this degree of a struggle. That is where The Finding You Project is so helpful again and again in reminding me that I am not alone, that I am moving through a process, and what I am experiencing is part of that journey.”
